I have the same problem with E61 and Outlook contacts: 25 percent of my ca 3000 contacts are not synch'ed - and no new contact. And I can't find any hint on the web. Anyone out there with the same problem?

The same with me, I felt uncocomfortable since my E61 can not sync with outlook email. My company rule not allow using wireless for email but E61 can support Exchange through wireless but Outlook is impossible. I saw many users complain but no feedback from Nokia!

Yes, I know that also on very old Symbian Version (i.e. the Symbian on the Sony P900i) the Sync between Outlook and the device.

Being the E61 a business phone my opionion is that is simply unacceptable!

This is strange. The e61 is a business focussed device where you would have thought that full calendar sync and display would be important.

My N73 is a multimedia consumer device but I can view the note field on calendar entries just fine!

As you noted the description field IS syncronized to the phone. The problem is that the built-in PIM DOES NOT display this field.

Watch for the S60v3 release of Papyrus (sbsh.net) in the next couple of weeks. I have used this application since I moved from Palm to Symbian a couple of years ago and it DOES display the task description field. Aquacalendar is another option but I have not used it and so cannot comment on its capabilities.

PC Sync does not syncronize Categories. I hope that this is something that Nokia will add in the future. Given that they bought Intellisync you would think that they would be coming forth with advancements in their sync capabilities.
