Serious Problem With Themes

I having a real pain in the behind problem with themes on my E61. For some reason, everytime I install a new theme, I loose some of the themes installed on the phone. I cant even reinstall them. I can find them anywhere on the app manager to uninstall them as well. Is anyone else having the same problem?

  2. Hi there,

    I had a similar problem. It was the ‘Fire’ theme. One day, it just disappeared. After trying several times to re-install it, it just wouldn’t reinstall. So, I gave up and lived without that theme.

    However, recently a bigger problem hit me. ALL my message settings, mailboxes, folders, etc… DISAPPEARED!!! Again, I tried several times to re-configure my mailboxes but it didn’t work. Right after defining the mailbox, it disappears.

    Basically, what I think is that the E61’s “registry” got corrupted so I had no choice but to perform a hard reset on the device. I also reformatted my 2GB miniSD card. PLS REMEMBER to backup both your E61 and copy out the contents of your 2GB miniSD.

    After performing the hard reset, my Fire theme could be installed once again and it worked. I think if you performed a hard reset on your E61 and then try re-installing the themes from scratch, it may work again for you.

  3. I have been sifting thru various forums and have discovered thats it’s a problem with many E61s. I don’t know how something like this can be fixed, but hard resetting is not a solution.

    I wonder if it has something to do with what kind of theme files are installed. There has to be a reason why this happens to some themes and not to others. I’ll try and check which themes I installed have disappeared, which ones cant be uninstalled and which ones work fine.

  4. i havnet had this issue but some of the themes i have keep the “office” folder icon unchanged even though the rest change????any clues?

  5. Hello friendz ,
    I got myself a new nokia e61.I have moved some of my bluetooth files to a folder named “myfiles” which was avilable in the options of the sms for some of the un recongnised |PDF (not yet installed on my e61).Kindly let me know where is this folder “myfiles”( since i cannot find it though the file explorer provided.)
    Secondly where is this system’s folder genrally avilablein nokia all business phone.
    Lastly, how does the agile messanger works , i have internet and suf very well every day but if i slect it and try to run the agile messanger , it shows an error saying - no access point found!

    Please do repsond back need all the articles urgently.If possible do reply on my email drobinsingh@gmail.com

    I tried to install themes on my new E61 from this site and from mobile9.com but when i tried to install themes, always i got error messege about certification error ! any help ?

    I had the same problem. Try going into Tools>Application Manager>Options>Settings then turn OFF Online certif. check. This should cure your problem.

    Some downloads still won’t work, it says file unsupported!!! I’m working on them.
