The way out is to deactivate the different sync in your Sync software (on the computer) (Notes, Tasks, Calendar, contact) and then to synchronise again activating one at a time. I'm running USB cable, latest PC Suite, latest phone s/w and Outlook 2003 V11 Build 5608 as of 8th Jan 2007. Phone counts up to different values of Calendar records before system error.
