Nokia E61 Web Browser shortcuts
Here is the list of Nokia E61 Web Browser shortcuts. This also works on all Nokia E Series.
[0] During a browsing session, pressing the 0 key returns you to your Home Page or Bookmarks List.
[1] Displays the Bookmarks List
[2] Searches the text in the current page
[3] Navigates back to the previously viewed page
[5] Lists windows
[8] Toggles the Page Overview miniature image on and off
[9] Goes to the address entered
[*] Zooms images in, making them larger
[#] Zooms images out, making them smaller
just bought “E61″. I am using T-mobile. Bought the 1 yr.,1000 min. or 1 year fir $100. I’m not on the phone much. My question is, what cable is needed to use the E61 100%? I’m using XP.

About cable the only one you need is included with phone. When connecting your phone choose data connection on the phone and you will be able to use your phone as a flash drive

hi i just got the E61, and my service provider (cingular says its a 50/50 chance of me being able to use it for internet, wht do i do?, and how do i go about it used to have the blackberry but i switched to the nokia e61, what advice could you please give me cos i’m always on the move and i need to surf the web from my phone.

i have cingular in the usa w/ mediaNet package (the $19.99 unlimited data w/ video and 200 free SMS/month). everything works perfectly fine….sometimes they won’t let you access google.com because they have exclusive contract with yahoo. but 99% of sites load ok. you can always use twingine.com or something to search google as well.
make sure you get all the settings sent to your (SMS from nokia) thru nokia’s website. you can autosave the various cingular settings to your phone and pick the one that works for you. i use Cingular Express settings. but you’ll have to see what’s best in your area cingular express/cing. internet/cing ISP/Internet GPRS/etc/etc. you’ll have all these settings sent to you by putting your cell # in nokia’s site. forgot the actual webpage for that…anyone who knows please post. but it’s in a few posts on nokme if you search….

I just bought the E61 and I can’t seem to be able to either send or receive sms. I have the settings as:
Msg centre name: SMS Settings
Msg centre number: 13123149810
Anybody able to shed some light on this? Many thanks.

Hi all,
The web shortcuts don´t work on my Nokia E61. I had the firmware upgraded and it seems to have been lost with that. Any idea on how to get it running again?

i’m having a problem with my E62 web browser. any time i go to yahoo fantasy sports, i can browse the page just fine, but if i try to submit anything, the browser freezes. i’ve cleared my cache and made sure i have enough memory, but the problem persists. any suggestions (such as upgrading firmware, perhaps)?

someone knows how i can to see youtube videos or all type of videos with my e61 internet browser because i have installed a flash lite the is in the macromedia website for download but the videos on my browser cant running and i do not know what i have to install to can see youtube or others online videos with my E61, well thanks for all

I have E61 since 3 years and I not really use it… just discover some features because I need SSH conexion that I’ve great install it thanks to this blog.
I’ve a question : I see in this ticket that the picture of the web browsing show a beautiful display of the web page. When I browse web using “Wap browser” installing on my E61 I have text version of each website that isn’t wap site :/… not so beautiful. How do you do to get this ?
