Nokia e61 Perfect Smartphone
Well 3 days ago I had recently bought myself Nokia e61, this is the best phone I’ve been using. In my not a long life I had tried lot’s of phone like O2 XDA Atom, Nokia 9300i, SonyEricsson P900 none of them gets any close to what Nokia e61 can do. The first thing is Symbian 9.1 it’s definitely fastest Mobile OS for today, Windows Mobile 5 has too many bugs to compare. Main features like SIP (VOIP), Wifi 54g, new email client, web browser, etc…
All these wonderful features inspired me to start this blog. I’m going to write here My way of using e61 especialy and other Nokia smartphones with Apple Mac OS X and my MacBook Pro.
Perhaps you can join the Nokia E61 flickr pool and upload some pictures of your set-up:

This Calendar view looks much like a PPC display. I actually own a E61, purchased in France, but the calendar don’t show up as on your picture. Is it a program you downloaded ?

Hello guys. Just got my e61 recently. Want to hook up my iPod earphones to it. Where can I get that port adapter to connect standard audio plugs?
Also, I have the original firmware, but am a bit wary of installing the upgrade. Does the upgrade fix the issue where you turn the phone on and it ALWAYS tells you that there is one message waiting for you on voicemail which is not the case?
Also, does the firmware fix the issue when you select the Calendar app after phone bootup and it says something like “the time has been changed”.
Thanks!

the most complex phone I ever had, yet the sweetest one WHEN it is actually working and not blocking itself.
