How to Sync Mac Entourage Notes with E61 – HELP PLEASE
I’ve read all these great comments on how isync can help you sync contacts/tasks/calendar with the Nokia E61. But there’s nothing out there that shows how to sync notes from Entourage to the E61.
Hi,
I don’t think there is any way to do this.

if you pair your mac with the e61 in with isync, you can do that!
dont forget to do the setup in isync!

I believe there are isync conduits for Entourage out there, like the e2sync one. Would that not take care of you?

I’m using the Novamedia plugins to Sync my E61 through iSync and it certainly isn’t possible to sync Entourage Notes using this plugin (even though the Notes are available as an Apple SyncService). I asked Novamedia about this who replied, “Apple requires phones to support the SyncML Bluetooth protocol. And the notes are not part of this protocol.” Initial investigations on my part appear to confirm this.
I would be delighted for lacruise to prove me wrong but short of a) Nokia writing a Mac version of their PC Suite application or b) a future version of the SyncML protocol including Notes synchronisation, I don’t believe there is any way of synchronising Entourage Notes with the E61.

Hi Folks,
I can offer you a very simple and last but not least “FREE” solution for the problems with alarm time setoffs while synchronizing between iSync and Nokia E-Series or others.
a) Choose a time zone that shows GMT +/- 0.00! There is only 1 such time zone, that is Iceland or Reykjavik, depending on eventually built in offerings.
b) Set the time which will change first of course to Iceland time manually back to your local time and just say no if the phone asks you if you would like to change the time zone!
c) Now your phone shows local time with a zero offset with GMT (UTC) which lets you sinc events with alarm without troubling faulty alarm setoffs.
This will not work perfectly if your local time zone does not switch to/from DST (Daylight Savings Times) the same day like Iceland, means this works well for most of Europe, while if in the Americas for example, you have to change from and/or to DST manually, there is an offset of somewhat between 1 and 3 weeks. Howerver this solves the syncing problem and although one hast to adapt DST manually which is not everywhere the case, this is an acceptable effort and further problems are not known to me. I am anyway not a friend of to many automized functions since they sooner or later produce problems, generally speaking
)
Have fun then and enjoy this top hardware combination, means both, macs and nokias have over all still not been topped yet.

Hi. I’m looking for a way to sync Nokia Notes with my Mac as well. The Treo is covered in all ways – via Palm Desktop, Missing Sync, and even SOHO Notes, which has an iPod and a Treo sync conduit to keep Treo in sync. But, alas, I cannot find anything to sync with Nokia phones. I’ve been so frustrated with the poor signal quality of my Treo that I’ve switched to the Nokia 6682 and I love it, but not the fact that I can’t sync notes. I wish someone would make a stand-alone app, even, and I’d pay for it, gladly, just to sync notes.
