Nokia needs to fix this if they want to compete with the BlackBerry (I used to use BlackBerrys, but switched because BlackBerry is a one trick pony and I want my phone to do turn-by-turn directions and run other apps). However, this time when I tried to re-enable it, the phone says ‘E-mail notifications’ must be disabled to enable header retrieval’ and won’t let me turn it back on. I’ve never seen that before, and after 1/2 hour of searching I can’t find where that setting is… Anybody seen/fixed this one? If it loses GPRS coverage for a bit, the GPRS indicator flag drops which causes the header diabled issue as well as having to power cycle the phone to get GPRS services back. I can't deal with this anymore. I've played with the GPRS/packet settings from "when needed" to "always available" but it still does not force the phone to lock the GPRS flag on. Once it goes down.. it's down for the count. So is this phone....A JASAM/Tytn and Ipaq 6900 series work perfect with the same sim in the same spot on my window.
