This phone is a whole new thing;the os is same but modified, and yes now the voice rec button can be programmed manually to launch any app inc. The camera.there is a micro sd card and its about 3 mm thinner top to bottom than the current e61. New improved dual speaker system and better video memmory. no joystick but has a 9 directional keypad. Battery life has been a little compromised but the regular guy shurely wont be able to tell the difference.there was a huge conversation abt making this a touch screen, but final one doesent have it. Watch out for the capability to play mpg and divx file format out of the box. The pre-release version is black with silver battery case. Feel heavier than e61, but definitely more solid than e61. It has more shortcut keys in front, and e61i does not use a "stick" joystick anymore, but it uses a small directional pad instead. I had a feel of it last Sunday.
