I registered an PBXes account and created two extensions. I used these two extensions as the usernames to create the SIP profile on two Nokia E71 for myself and my colleague. My colleague can always make call to me. But when I call him, I always get the "Address Busy" message. I wonder if this is related to the incoming route settings in my PBXes account.

Another issue I have found is that after receiving several calls from my colleague, my E71 showed a memory full message and no long be able to receive or make call. I have to restart my E71 to reslove the issue.

Appreciate if anyone could give some solutions on the above issues.

Thanks.

Something i discovered : Use ip addresses instead of dns names for the servers.... this is the clue when you have messages like : "could not register"

BTW for those still trying to use this blog to setup their E61i. I found that if you follow the directions as above (including the before mentioned corrections to points 2c and 3c) you still need make sure that the field below is set correctly.

Login to the PBXes.org setup site
Goto Extensions
"Device Options"
"Dail"
Make sure this option is set to "sip:-"

This was causing me to not be registered. For some reason PBXes.org website puts a "/" instead of a ":"

I hope this helps.

Hey - for some VERY EASY to follow example on using VoIP / SIP on the Nokia E61, check out http://gsmcall.com/pages/mobile/nokia-e61.html and not only do they have the step-by-step example on how to do it, but they utilize G.729 codec which most providers don't. That means you very high quality because of the reduced bandwidth requirement. I've used it on 3G internet as well as the WIFI component. I've even heard some people using it with EDGE.

Anyhow - Good Luck with it.
CIAO,
