E61 Sync problem
The sync process worked well the 1st time; after that I however get duplicates of birthdays as well as recurring events. Syncing with cable. Any idea what the problem is?

If it is outlook you are syncing with, check if you have daylight saving time set up. This can cause problems if your phone and your computer at not in line.

What if you delete the duplicate entries one time and than sync again?
Will they be created again?
