I am having problems with the Fine connector pins that Nokia ac 4 u offers. The Connector Pin does not have enough mechanical strength and bends very easily. I am amazed how a company like nokia can approve such poor quality design

I got the same problem with my new n95, saying ' Not Charging' when I plug the charger. I don't think it's the problem with the charger (works well on other n95); other chargers also don't work on this faulty n95. It may be the charging controller of this phone is damaged. Is there any other method to fix that by ourselves other than send back? I signed from O2-UK. Is it better send to O2 or to Nokia directly?

Many thanks,all

I'm off to buy my 3rd Nokia (new design) charger and in my case, it definitely is a case of the cable getting damaged inside the moulding at the plug end as pointed out by Kian Ryan. That must be why they sell it with a velcro cable tie so that you can loop up the cable when not using the charger. Most of us just wrap the cable round the plug and in the case of the Nokia charger, this seems to put enough tension on the cable to break it.
Will find a 3rd party charger this time.

Do you guys have any clue why Nokia changed their charger? I believe there must be some non-technical issue here.

i bought a car charger for my nokia 6234 (i think), and it only charges my phone for a few seconds when i plug it in initially and if i want it to stay charging i have to bend the wire back which would suggest a problem in the cable. however it used to work nicely until i messed with my car radio. i dunno but im getting pretty fed up with the new cheap nokias.
