Or if you want the phonelock (for password) then a quick press on the power button, and one tap of the joystick upwards, and voila. I hit the recorder button all the time just picking up or holding the device while USING unlocked. Also this way you dont need any extra software. Unfortunately this doesn't lock out the power key. I'd rather not have two layers of lock since its a real pain to have to unlock the keyboard just to enter a password to unlock the GoodLink security lock. So maybe its not so stupid a question.
